There have been video games that have been released in 2011…so far. Some were very good games and others…not so much. To help you decide which games are worth getting, I created a list of all my favorite video games from this year.
Duke Nukem Forever
Duke Nukem is back fighting aliens and trying to save the world once again. Now I know this hasn’t gotten really good reviews, but I found Duke Nukem Forever entertaining and fun. The last time this game was out was 14 years ago and it was on the Nintendo 64. If you liked Duke Nukem on the Nintendo 64, then you will love Duke Nukem Forever since it has a lot of the same features in the game as they did in the original Duke Nukem. The only things I didn’t necessarily like was that you can only carry two guns at a time. So, you better choose the guns you want to carry wisely. Having said that the levels are fun, there is a lot of action, a true game to add to the collection.
It gives you the same kind of vibes that Pokemon go accounts would give where the levels and players were just as intriguing but with double the thrills in hindsight not that Nukem is any less but I am just giving my opinion based on preference.
Killzone 3
Just like the first two Killzone 3 has tons of action and amazing graphics. This is one of the best games this year so far, there’s a lot of shooting and you get to fly in jet packs which makes killing enemies more fun (at least for me). You won’t be disappointed with this game and you will be sucked in before you know. The shooting accuracy is amazing in the game and even with the new guns will you have lots of fun shooting the enemies. There’s not a dull moment and you will get a rush of excitement when you play. The only thing I didn’t like was how impossible it was to play co-op. The screen is too small and it’s hard to see things, but all in all it is a fun game to play.
Bulletstorm
Although the graphics aren’t the best, Bulletstorm is fun to play especially when killing your enemies. There’s a lot of action and you earn points which help you buy weapon upgrades and ammo. The one thing I didn’t like is the dialogue, but the game play is awesome enough. The ways you can kill your enemies is awesome as well you can earn points by the bizarre ways you can kill your enemies.
These are my favorite video games for this year so far. It’s still early on in the year and I’m sure there will be more fun games coming out soon. For now, I’ll continue playing these three and having lots of fun.
